Every guide is built from that state's own statute, rule or agency guidance, linked on the page. Another state's statement or checklist is never a substitute for yours.

Gather the details before you build

  1. Check your state's label checklist. Gather the producer details and any state statement or permit information described in the guide.
  2. Use your actual product information. Work through your ingredient list and supplier sub-ingredients, allergen declaration, and package net quantity.
  3. Review the finished package. Open the builder for your state, enter your recipe, and check each label field. Compare the final printed size and placement with the guide and official sources, including information outside the Nutrition Facts panel.
